Steinberg users forum Steinberg is the company that made Cubase (the sequencer I use) and are the inventors of the VST (i) technology. You can browse and search for answers freely, even if you do not own a Steinberg product. Cakewalk User Forums Cakewalk is the maker of the Sequencer / Harddisk recorder SONAR. These are the forums for the users of Cakewalk products, but you don't have to be a user to browse them or to become a member. Recommended for anyone intersted in the subject of DAW and virtual studio technology. D.A.W. (Digital Audio Workstation) sites. KVR This is THE resource site if you are interested in Virtual instruments (VSTI), effects and D.A.W. in general. Need a free VSTi synth / sampler / host? Look no further! Guitar sites (English). Guitars 101 One of the biggest guitar communities on the web with more than 10.000 members! Guitar sites (Dutch). Akkoord.be Guitar lessons in Dutch! Very much recommended if you master the Dutch language. Free DAW Software, synths and effects Audacity Free wave editor and more. Kristal audio engine Multitrack recording and mixing program. Very Cubase SX alike. Does not support midi and VSTI yet, but hey, it's FREE. SFZ soundfont player An exellent and FREE soundfont player! Synth1 Exellent virtual synth. The download page is in Japanese, but that should not hold you back. Just download the Zip file and install. Lallapallooza lite Another free virtual synth I use. ORGANized trio Hammond organ emulation. It is not Native instruments B4, but quite convincing. Shan's SF Homepage You can download one of the best free GM soundfonts at Shan's page.
