How to Use this site

For maximum use of the guitar playing lessons on this site (and other sites as well) you are advised to install the FREE Powertab editor. Download and install from here. This is an exellent and popular freeware tab editor. There is a massive amount of powertab files available for free. A good place to start is powertabs.net.

Another "tool" that is used extensively is the Sibelius Scorch plugin. This allows you to watch, save and print Sibelius scores from within your browser.

Powertab Editor features tabs AND standard notation, playback through your soundcard, Import and export of standard midi files, full editing of tabs and much more...

You can also view / print / save and playback some lessons in the Sibelius Scorch format. The plugin to open these files in your browser is also free and you can download and install it from here.

For playing back ("looped" or "repeated") loops (in Ogg Vorbis format) you may need a media player capable of doing so. I found a free one that can play repeats without stuttering. This player is called Foobar2000, and you can get it here.
