C Minor Jazz Blues Simplest Changes: soloing 4 | Print |  E-mail

In this series of lessons we will learn to improvise / solo over the changes of the C minor blues. We will use the C minor pentatonic scale as a "starting point" or first layer and add more notes/ layers as the lessons evolve.

In this 4th lesson We will introduce a 5th layer.

We will add a note to ALL layers/ Chords. The note D. The D sounds well throughout the whole structure.

Below are grids with the D added to the scales.
